The captain of the Sea Owl I vessel, taken under the control of the Swedish Coast Guard near the city of Trelleborg, was detained on suspicion of using forged documents. This was reported on March 13 on the website of the press service of the Swedish Prosecutor's Office, citing senior prosecutor Adrien Combier-Hogg.

"Based on the results of the preliminary investigative actions, I have decided to arrest the captain..."[He] is suspected of using a forged document, which is a criminal offense," Combier-Hogg said.
