VKKS terminated the powers of the chairman of the Ninth Arbitration Court Sedov

The Supreme Qualification Board of Judges of Russia has terminated the powers of the Chairman of the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal, Sergei Sedov, and five other judges. VKKS announced this on March 13 on its website.

"The CCCC of the Russian Federation terminated the powers of 6 judges and heads of courts in connection with their written statements of resignation <...>, in particular: Antonova S.A. – judge, chairman of the Arbitration Court of the East Siberian District; Sedova S.P. - judge, Chairman of the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal; Manaenkova E.N. – judge, Deputy Chairman Volgograd Regional Court; Belyaeva L.E. – judge, Deputy Chairman of the Arbitration Court of the Murmansk region; Suprun A.V. – judge of the Fourth Court of Cassation of General Jurisdiction; Steshan B.V. – judge of the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal," the press release says.

The board also noted that it had approved the composition of the boards of judges of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Khakassia, the Zabaikalsky Regional Court, the Amur, Leningrad, and Ryazan regional courts, and had also conducted a qualification certification of judges.

The judges from Nizhny Novgorod, Fomin and Sapega, resigned by decision of the HCCC on February 12. It was reported that the panel of judges sent materials to the Prosecutor General's Office about corruption against Fomin.
