Konstantin Morgoev, the former Minister of Construction and Architecture of North Ossetia, has been detained for a period of two months. The corresponding decision was made on March 13 by the Leninsky District Court of Vladikavkaz.

The former official is charged with abuse of office (Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

"The Leninsky District Court of Vladikavkaz has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of two months, until May 11, 2026, to Konstantin Morgoev, the former Minister of Construction and Architecture of North Ossetia," the RIA Novosti court press service said in a statement.

Morgoev headed the regional Ministry of Construction from 2021 to 2023, after which he moved to the position of adviser to the head of the republic, Sergei Menyailo.

The Moscow City Court has confirmed the arrest of Andrei Severilov, former chairman of the board of directors of the FESCO transport group, in a case of embezzlement. According to investigators, the defendants created Vladporttrans LLC, which does not conduct any real activity, and through a fictitiously overestimated estimate committed embezzlement in the amount of 885 million.
