- The government and the Popular Front handed over the necessary equipment to the paratroopers
In Rostov-on-Don, the Russian government and the Popular Front presented paratroopers with equipment for combat missions in the special military operation zone. This was announced on March 12 by the press service of the All-Russian movement.
"Today, the 7th Airborne Division was given equipment, communications equipment, fiber optics and motor pumps - all the most in demand for combat missions. <...> This equipment will allow the fighters to act effectively here and now," said Vladimir Taranenko, deputy head of the organization's executive committee and head of the Popular Front Youth Group.
It is specified that in total the fighters received 50 electric motorcycles, 50 ATVs and 10 UAZ "Pros". In addition, they were given 100 thermal imaging sights, as well as motor pumps for pumping water out of shelters.
"The electric motorcycle is quiet, with a large power reserve and a built—in generator - an excellent model. An 800-cubic-meter ATV is also powerful. <...> You can drive anywhere with automatic weapons. We need them in every unit," one of the soldiers confirmed.
On March 5, the Popular Front, together with Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova, handed over the necessary equipment to female military doctors on the eve of International Women's Day. Golikova presented the volunteers with certificates for the purchase of fabrics, thermal presses, sewing machines, medical supplies and 3D printing equipment.
