Without Russian energy, there is no way out of the global energy crisis. Kirill Dmitriev, special representative of Russian President Vladimir Putin and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), wrote about this on his Telegram channel on March 13.

Dmitriev wrote a post commenting on the words of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that the United States, by partially lifting sanctions against Russian petroleum products, would bring up to $10 billion to the Russian budget.

"$10 billion in the budget will not be superfluous, but in the end it will be more. There is no way out of the energy crisis without Russian energy," said the special envoy of the president.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on March 13 that Moscow had seen US actions to stabilize energy markets, and the two countries' goals were similar in this regard. He added that the Kremlin had seen the US Treasury exclude Russian oil and petroleum products shipped before March 12 from sanctions, but he also recalled the US administration's statement on maintaining the sanctions regime for the Russian Federation.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
