The plenary session of the Healthy Society Forum, dedicated to the best national and regional practices in promoting public health, will be held on the first day of the event, March 16, 2026. The event is organized by the ecosystem of the Roscongress Foundation "Healthy Society" with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
"The international exchange of experience plays an important role in the development of modern healthcare systems. The forum platform brings together experts and representatives from different countries to discuss solutions that have already proven their effectiveness and can become the basis for further development of public health policy," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation.
Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, will deliver a welcoming speech. Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Timur Sultangaziev, First Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Elena Bogdan, First Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus, and Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population will take part in the plenary session "Best country and regional practices for public health promotion". Khabibullo Mukhiddin of the Republic of Tajikistan, Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for Social Development, Aisen Nikolaev, Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Andrey Turchak, Head of the Republic of Altai.
"Today, strengthening public health requires not only national efforts, but also active international cooperation. Many challenges, from the prevention of chronic diseases to the formation of a healthy lifestyle culture, are global in nature. The exchange of the best national and regional practices allows us to find effective solutions that can be adapted in different health systems and contribute to increasing healthy life expectancy," said Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation.
Global health is undergoing an era of great transformation. With similar challenges – demographic, epidemiological, and humanitarian – the national health systems of most countries follow the path of individual development, implementing their own models of medical care, local technological solutions, and patient support formats. At the same time, an increasingly important role in achieving national goals is played by a competent regional policy that takes into account the specifics of the territories and makes it possible to effectively implement federal standards based on local initiatives. However, many one-time and unique practices can become system tools and be replicated in other countries as a successful experience. The Forum's plenary session will consolidate the best practices of Russia-friendly states and become a dialogue on the state of public health at the highest level.
Experts will discuss which countries' best practices and best practices in the field of public health have increased the level of public satisfaction with medical care and led national health systems to significant results, how cooperation can strengthen the health systems of the countries participating in the dialogue, how to effectively build an inter–country dialogue in order to ensure the transfer of successful practices, what mechanisms of harmonization of processes are needed for this, and also how to create the necessary conditions for expanding the range of mutual exchange of experience and create new growth points for cooperation.
In 2026, the Healthy Society Forum will serve as a platform for dialogue between Russian experts and representatives of the international community, including the CIS, BRICS and SCO countries.
