Valeria Chekalina's critical state of health became known in early March. After the birth of his fourth child on February 26, the blogger's condition deteriorated sharply, which led to hospitalization in intensive care. During the examinations, doctors found malignant cells and metastases in various parts of the body.

The disease has affected vital organs and systems. Due to the spread of the pathological process, the vertebrae were damaged, which required urgent spinal surgery. Currently, Chekalina suffers from severe pain and is receiving therapy with powerful painkillers.

Hospitalization and treatment plan

On the evening of March 12, it became known that the blogger had been transferred to a state clinic to begin specialized treatment. Luis Squicciarini, who accompanied her, confirmed that Valeria Chekalina is ready for an intensive course of chemotherapy and remains positive.

"My strongest, most radiant and beloved girl has stage four stomach cancer with metastases in her spine, legs and possibly lungs. An already confirmed diagnosis. Valeria starts chemotherapy tomorrow," Squicciarini said on his Instagram page (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

The reaction of the environment

The blogger's friends and colleagues express their support for her. Friend Alina Akilova was the first to report the presence of metastases in Chekalina's body. In turn, TV presenter Victoria Bonya attributed the severity of the disease to the impossibility of timely examination last year due to judicial restrictions.

"Lerchek has metastases in her lungs. At the same time, the court denied her the opportunity to go for an examination a year ago, although her health required constant monitoring," Victoria Bonya noted on her social networks.

According to relatives, despite the confirmed fourth stage of the disease, the family intends to fight for the young mother's life to the end. Doctors of the State Cancer Center continue to select the optimal strategy for further treatment.
