The defense claimed a split personality of Stas Namin's stepson
The defense of Roman Tkachenko, the stepson of rock musician Stas Namin (real name is Anastas Mikoyan), who is accused of murdering his stepbrother and grandmother, said that the man may suffer from a split personality and asked for a re-examination. This was reported on March 13 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the Moscow Regional Court.
According to the lawyer, Tkachenko has been communicating with his "other self" for many years and has suffered at least ten concussions. At the same time, the witnesses who spoke earlier in the case described the man as a kind and sympathetic person without any oddities.
A correspondent for Izvestia reported on January 15 that Tkachenko, accused of murdering his brother and grandmother, wanted to commit suicide because of loneliness. An examination on January 21 revealed a state of passion at the time of the double murder. Tkachenko's mother is convinced that her son was in an inadequate condition. According to her, he loved his grandmother and brother.
In December 2025, it was noted that Tkachenko's arrest was extended in the case of the murder of his grandmother and brother until April 1 of this year. At the same time, Tkachenko's defense insisted on a milder measure of restraint, unrelated to detention, due to the psychological state of the defendant.
The bodies of Namin's mother-in-law and his 30-year-old son Artyom with multiple stab wounds were found on the night of October 19, 2023 in their house in Kryukovo. It was noted that a dispute arose between the relatives over the sale of the house. During the conflict, the grandson killed his grandmother, after which he called his 30-year-old brother, confessed to what he had done, and when he arrived at the scene, Roman dealt with him. Then the criminal called the police and reported what he had done. The suspect was promptly detained.
