On March 13, the Moscow Arbitration Court recovered 249.6 billion rubles from the ex-owner of Rost Bank, Mikail Shishkhanov, and his colleagues.

The corresponding decision, as stated by a RIA Novosti correspondent from the courtroom, was made as part of a lawsuit filed by Trust Bank back in 2020. The interested party initially demanded to consider the amount of 305.6 billion rubles, but later repeatedly changed it.

The plaintiffs, after joining their Rost Bank corporation, demanded damages from the defendants for several transactions that were not aimed at asset withdrawal. The transactions in question were, according to the initiators of the case, conducted by former managers and heads of the financial institution.

It was noted that the court recovered the specified amount from Shishkhanov and from the ex-representative of the board of his institution Kirill Lyubentsov. The same decision of the court extended to another person involved, a former member of the board of directors, Alexander Lukin, who was charged approximately 227.9 billion rubles.

On March 4, the Moscow City Court upheld the lower court's decision to seize property worth about 5 billion rubles from Alexander Kibovsky, ex-minister of the city government, former head of the Department of Culture, and Anatoly Kruglov, ex-chairman of the State Customs Committee of Russia, who was detained in June 2024. It was noted that the property of the designated persons was converted into income for the state.
