Lukashenko appreciated the inspection of the Air Force and air defense forces in Belarus

The inspection of the Air Force and Air Defense forces in Belarus went well. This was announced on March 13 by the President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko.

He also added that the next stage will be the verification of electronic warfare (EW) systems and other means of countering drones. According to the president, the process of strengthening the military component continues, and the final results of the work done will be announced in late spring.

On February 23, Lukashenko announced the formation of an army to curb the ardor of any aggressor. He stressed that it is the power of the armed forces, as well as the unity and cohesion of the people that remain the foundation of the peaceful future of Belarus and require constant strengthening.

Prior to that, on February 10, the Belarusian leader instructed the country to establish its own production of running ammunition by the end of 2026. He also drew attention to the need to resolve the issue of providing the army with ammunition, in particular grenade launchers. In addition, the head of state warned that the execution of this order must be completed on time.

On January 28, Secretary of State of the Security Council of Belarus Alexander Volfovich also reported to Lukashenko on the progress of a large-scale check of the combat readiness of the Armed Forces of the state. The Leader of the republic paid special attention to the conditions of accommodation and provision of personnel in difficult weather conditions, as well as the adaptation of combat experience of modern conflicts in wooded and swampy areas.
