Rosatom has never seen signs of Iran developing nuclear weapons. This was announced on March 13 by the head of the state corporation Alexey Likhachev at Interdepartmental consultations with the participation of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

"We have a very multifaceted relationship with the Iranian nuclear industry. <...> We have never seen evidence of Iran's development of nuclear weapons. We did not have this confirmation either officially or, as they say, from feelings," Likhachev said.

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi noted that the Iranian nuclear program has always attracted a lot of attention. According to him, the agency had previously systematically carried out inspections to track it, but later it became difficult.

"Given the increase in the level, the enrichment of the uranium product to almost weapons-grade levels, and the fact that our access to Iran's nuclear infrastructure facilities has been very seriously reduced, we cannot provide any precise, visible evidence that such weapons were not really created," Grossi said.

The Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic to the United Nations in Geneva, Ali Bahraini, said on March 3 that after the failure of negotiations between Iran and the United States, there are no secure agreements to conduct investigations at the Iranian nuclear facilities that were attacked. He also stressed that the attacks by Israel and the United States on nuclear facilities in Iran are a violation of international law.

On the same day, the IAEA confirmed the damage to the infrastructure of the underground nuclear fuel enrichment facility in Natanz. The agency's experts analyzed current satellite photos and recorded damage in the area.

On March 2, the United States and Israel attacked Iran's Natanz nuclear facility twice. CNN TV channel, citing satellite images taken by Vantor, reported damage to the facility on March 3.
