Two children were killed and 17 others injured in a rocket attack that hit an apartment building in a suburb of Tehran. This was reported on March 13 by the ISNA news agency, citing the Iranian emergency services.

"Last night (March 12th. — Ed.), after a rocket attack on an apartment building <...>, two children were killed as martyrs, and 17 citizens were injured," the publication says on the Telegram channel.

The injured received first aid and were subsequently hospitalized.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on the morning of the same day that it had attacked Tehran, Shiraz and Ahvaz. It was clarified that the targets of the attacks were missile program facilities, command posts and security forces. On March 11, Tedros Adan Ghebreyesus, head of the World Health Organization (WHO), announced over 1,8 thousand dead and over 12,5 thousand injured as a result of the escalation in the Middle East. It was noted that these statistics were provided for Iran, Lebanon and Israel.
