Unemployed Khabarovsk resident faces jail time for killing two sables

According to IA AmurMedia, with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region, the director of the hunting protection service addressed the duty station of the OMVL in the Lazo district. According to him, he found two sable carcasses on the farm. There were also two hunting traps and a smoothbore rifle with ammunition.

As a result of the search activities, law enforcement officers managed to detain a 43-year-old unemployed resident of the village of Yuzhny. He said that he went hunting to solve his financial problems. He set traps on the territory of the hunting farm. The man planned to sell the loot. He did not have hunting permits.

A criminal case has been opened into the incident under the article "Illegal hunting". The defendant faces up to two years in prison. The man reimbursed 10 thousand rubles for the damage. He was given a written undertaking not to leave.

During the inspection of his luggage, the inspector noticed unusual objects that looked like parts of a wild animal.
