New People is one of the three leading parties in the country.

For the first time, the New People Party has entered the top three most supported political forces in the country. According to the latest data, its support level was 9.5%. This was announced on March 13 on the VTsIOM website.

According to political scientist Nikita Lyakhovetsky, several trends affect the change in the balance of power at once. One of them is the gradual decline in the popularity of some parties.

"The Communist Party of the Russian Federation, which has occupied the second place for many years, has been steadily losing its rating in recent years. The party cannot offer new meanings and solutions to modern problems, from the digital economy to innovation issues. As a result, voters do not see constructive proposals that would meet the challenges of the 21st century," the expert said in an interview with Izvestia.

Lyakhovetsky said that the growing support for the New People party is related to its positioning as a force focused on innovation and entrepreneurship. According to him, this is a party of "constructive solutions." Today, voters do not need outdated slogans, but real proposals for the development of the economy, business and education. The political scientist added that people notice how many of the party's initiatives reach the stage of adopting laws, which contributes to building trust in it.

The party has announced 12 ideas with which it will go to the State Duma elections — it can double the number of mandates, experts believe.

Political analyst Ilya Ukhov also believes that the growth of support for the party is due to its active work in recent years. He recalled that in six years the party has been able to form a stable political structure and expand its presence in the regions.

"Despite the relatively small faction in the State Duma, the party has a fairly high level of efficiency. At the same time, she is actively working in the information space and increasing the level of recognition. In the last month alone, awareness of the activities of the "New People" has increased by about 12%," the expert noted.

In turn, Evgeny Minchenko, a political scientist, president of RASO and head of the Minchenko Consulting communications holding, noted that the New People were included in the Guinness Book of Records as the most productive parliamentary party in terms of the number of bills passed.

"It also retains the image of the techno—optimist party, a force for development and progress offering innovative solutions," he said.

According to the expert, an important role is also played by the formed leadership team — the founder of the party Alexey Nechaev, presidential candidate Vladislav Davankov and Sardana Avksentieva as the voice of the regions.

Minchenko added that the stability of the rating will depend on the further work of the party. In his opinion, in order to consolidate the result, it is important for the "New People" to actively develop the regional network and strengthen their work with voters so that citizens can see the practical effect of the party's initiatives and the activities of its deputies.

VTsIOM's website also reported that the level of support for the United Russia party was 32.1%, the Liberal Democratic Party 10.1%, the Communist Party 9.3%, and the Just Russia 5.4%.
