Four people were killed in the crash of an American military tanker aircraft KC-135 in Iraq. This was reported by the Central Command (CENTCOM). The US Armed Forces.

"An American KC-135 aircraft was shot down in western Iraq. Four of the six crew members on board the aircraft have been confirmed dead while rescue operations continue," a statement on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

CENTCOM stressed that the loss of the aircraft was not caused by enemy or friendly fire. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated. The identities of the victims are not disclosed until relatives are notified.
