Golikova reported a decrease in the poverty rate in Russia to 6.7%
The poverty rate in Russia has decreased to 6.7% by the end of 2025. This was announced on March 13 by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova at the final board of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection at the National Center "Russia".
"Rising wages, measures aimed at ensuring employment and targeted support measures have contributed to reducing poverty. By the end of 2025, the poverty rate was 6.7%," she said.
According to Golikova, the indicator decreased by 0.4 percentage points compared to 2024.
