Austria allowed a revision of the strategy towards Russia due to the energy crisis

The energy crisis may force Austria to reconsider its strategy towards Russia as an energy supplier. This opinion was expressed on March 13 by Austrian geopolitical analyst Patrick Poppel.

"In the current geopolitical situation, people may start thinking again that an important part of gas supplies is connected to Russia. The government needs to think about the entire energy supply system. This may well lead to discussions on continuing cooperation with Russia as a partner in the field of raw materials, primarily in the field of energy supply," he told RIA Novosti.
