The three children, a 13-year-old girl, Alina, and two 12—year-old boys, Ivan and Bogdan, who fell through the ice on the Moskva River, were "very polite teenagers from a wonderful family." Residents of Zvenigorod remember this on March 13.

Neighbor Yana said that the friendship of the trio lasted for many years, they were often seen together in the yard. Despite their age, they were always polite and welcoming.

"I know their families, they are wonderful people. Alyona has a younger sister. Why did the guys go to the river? I can't believe it. Their mothers wouldn't let them go there even in the summer," the woman told Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

One of the interlocutors clarified that in the place where the teenagers disappeared, the river flow is very fast. One of the fishermen noticed on March 7 how a boy fell from an ice floe. A scarf of one of the teenagers was later found near this place.

Lisa Alert coordinator Alexander Shchukin confirmed that the priority version is drowning. On the night of March 13, rescuers found a break in the ice two kilometers downstream, characteristic of a human sinkhole, and traces of hand hooks.

"The ice break was noticed around 3:30 a.m. (Moscow time - Ed.). Then, for about 50 m, traces of hand hooks are visible," said Sergey Teplenin, head of the PSO No. 1 Mosoblpozhspasa.

According to him, Igor was probably trying to get out of the icy water, but the ice was crumbling. The search for Boris and Alyona continues, but the ice drift, which began recently, complicates the work of divers.

The head of Odintsovo district Andrey Ivanov urged residents not to conduct independent searches. Zvenigorod residents, according to eyewitnesses, are devastated.

"I still have these guys in front of my eyes! They always played near my workshop. I really want to help. But how, with what?" said the owner of a local workshop.

A source from Izvestia reported on March 11 that rescuers had found the body of one of the children who had disappeared in Zvenigorod. The body of 12-year-old Ivan was found about 2 km downstream from the place where, presumably, the teenagers could have fallen through the ice.

The day before, Ivanov said that the search for three missing children in Zvenigorod was underway around the clock, and the Odintsovo District administration was providing maximum support. Prior to that, it was reported that almost 500 people took part in the search for children.

Three children, a 13-year-old girl, Alina, and two 12—year-old boys, Ivan and Bogdan, disappeared in the Zvenigorod area on March 7. One of the fishermen said that he saw children drowning in the river, but did not inform the emergency services because another witness of the incident called 112.

A criminal case has been opened into the disappearance of the teenagers. The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, requested a report on the investigation. In the volunteer search and rescue unit "LizaAlert". Andrey Chernov, coordinator of the LizaAlert search and rescue team, told Izvestia on March 9 that the dramatic warming and strong river changes had complicated the search for missing children.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
