The Gagarin Court hearing in Moscow in the case of blogger Lerchek (real name Valery Chekalin), accused of withdrawing money abroad, may be postponed due to the person involved undergoing chemotherapy. This was announced on March 13 by one of the participants in the trial.

"The court hearing on the Chekalina case, scheduled for March 16, is questionable. The defendant is currently in the hospital undergoing chemotherapy. Her participation in the meeting depends on whether the doctors release her," TASS quoted the participant as saying.
