A captured Ukrainian militant spoke about the salary of Cuban mercenaries in the service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Mercenaries from Cuba work for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Sumy region, they receive $5,000 per month for their service. This was announced on March 13 by Nikolai Zhurba, a captured rifleman of the 119th separate Air Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Yes, there were [foreign mercenaries].<...> I know that in our positions where I was standing, there were Cubans in front of me, and there were women there. <..> Let's say [the Cubans] served in positions for a month, they returned, and they had very great privileges. The border guards said that they were paid $5,000 per month [for service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine]," Zhurba said in an interview with TASS.
