Dmitriev commented on the news about the US permission to sell oil from Russia.

The easing of US sanctions will affect about 100 million barrels of Russian oil in transit. This was announced on March 13 by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

"The United States actually recognizes the obvious: without Russian oil, the global energy market cannot remain stable. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant announced not only the easing of restrictions for India on the purchase of Russian oil, but also the lifting of all restrictions on about 100 million barrels of Russian oil," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
