The calculation of the troops of the unmanned systems of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation adjusted the strike on enemy targets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The calculation of the Scat-350M reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the units of the unmanned systems forces operating as part of the 27th Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the Center group of forces ensured the correction of an air strike using FAB-250 aerial bombs equipped with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC) in the Dnepropetrovsk area of a special military operation (SVO).This was announced on March 13 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

In the course of performing aerial reconnaissance tasks to detect enemy strongholds, firing positions, artillery calculations and logistics routes, UAV operators recorded the movement of a ground-based robotic complex (NRTC) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), transporting food and ammunition between the positions of a large stronghold.

"We conduct reconnaissance, if weather conditions permit, 24 hours a day. <...> We monitored the jeep, the jeep pulled up, unloaded the equipment onto a cart, and the cart set off along the route. <...> On the next flight, we conducted objective control over the destruction of the identified strongholds," says senior operator Alexey Nikolaev.

After additional verification of the information received, the coordinates were transferred to launch an airstrike on the enemy force. The calculation of the UAV provided tracking and correction of the destruction of the target. As a result of the joint actions of units of unmanned systems and aviation, a large stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed. The defeat of the enemy's positions and manpower created conditions for the advance of the group's assault units in the sector.

"We watched them from the air, adjusted the FPV drones, and all the targets were destroyed," says operator Andrey Ermakov.

The daily work of reconnaissance UAV operators makes it possible to identify new targets in a timely manner and ensure their defeat by drone strikes, artillery fire and aviation means.

The new complexes are guaranteed to destroy firing points during attacks on enemy fortified areas.

On the same day, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the BM-21 Grad MLRS crew of the artillery regiment of the 90th Guards Tank Division of the Center group of forces launched an artillery strike on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the area of the SVO. After receiving intelligence data from the operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the crew moved to the prepared firing position. The soldiers fired a salvo at the identified target at a range of about 18 km.
