The Islamic Resistance of Iraq (IRI) has confirmed the attack on an American KC-135 tanker aircraft. This was reported on March 13 by the Khabar Fouri agency.

"A KC-135 aircraft belonging to the American occupiers was shot down in western Iraq," the Telegram channel said in a statement.
