On March 12, the Pentagon announced the loss of a tanker aircraft in the skies over Iraq during Operation Epic Fury.
"The US Central Command is aware of the loss of an American KC-135 tanker aircraft. The incident occurred in friendly airspace during Operation Epic Fury," the Central Command of the US Armed Forces (CENTCOM) said in a statement on the social network X.
