Rosaviation has limited the validity period of the Azur Air certificate
The Federal Air Transport Agency imposed restrictions on Azur Air flights after an unscheduled inspection. This was announced on March 12 in the department.
"Rosaviation has imposed restrictions on the validity period of the AZUR Air operator's certificate until June 8, 2026," the Telegram channel said.
During an unscheduled inspection, Rospotrebnadzor revealed a number of violations of mandatory requirements of Russian airspace. Azur air was recommended to increase the level of safety as soon as possible, conduct an internal audit to maintain airworthiness and aircraft maintenance, and reduce the number of flights.
Rosaviatsia has warned Azur Air that if the violations are not eliminated by June 8, 2026, the air transportation certificate will be cancelled.
On March 8, an aircraft of the Russian company Azur Air, which gave an emergency signal, made an unplanned successful landing in Myanmar at Yangon Airport. None of the 336 passengers and 10 crew members on the flight from Tyumen were injured.
