In the Krasnodar Territory, air pollution was detected after a fire at an oil depot. This was announced on March 12 by the press service of Rospotrebnadzor in the region.

"According to the results of the maximum one-time studies, an excess of the maximum permissible concentration (MPC) was detected. — Ed.) in terms of benzene and xylene," the department's Telegram channel says.

The ministry noted that experts continue sampling and laboratory tests. The situation remains under the control of Rospotrebnadzor.
