The previously landscaped Serebryany Park is being upgraded in Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk, in 2026, the Silver Square, which was previously landscaped under the federal program, will be renovated. The current works will be timed to coincide with the 400th anniversary of the city, according to the city administration.

As part of the renovation, modern playgrounds and sports grounds are planned to be installed in the park, a quiet recreation area will be equipped and a dog walking area will be retrofitted. In addition, there are plans to lay paving stones instead of asphalt.

According to KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, a video surveillance system will also be installed in the park, lighting will be updated, hiding all cables underground. Large-scale landscaping works are also planned.

The Silver Square is one of the largest public spaces in Krasnoyarsk. It is located in the Oktyabrsky district within the boundaries of Vysotnaya, Krupskaya and 2nd Khabarovsk streets.

The city authorities note that the improvement of the "Silver" has already been carried out in 2018-2019 as part of the federal project "Creating a comfortable urban environment". Work on the modernization of previously landscaped areas is being carried out in preparation for the anniversary, which the capital of the region will celebrate in 2028.
