The shooting occurred at a synagogue in Michigan, and law enforcement officers arrived at the scene of the incident. This was announced on March 12 by the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Cash Patel.

"FBI employees, together with partners in Michigan, are responding to an alleged hit-and-run and shooting at the Temple Israel Synagogue in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan," Patel wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
