The premiere screening of the documentary "Korean Special Forces" took place at the Victory Museum in Moscow. The author of the picture was a journalist, State Duma deputy Marina Kim. This was reported by Izvestia on March 2.
"The film is dedicated to the feat of the Korean special forces and their contribution to the liberation of the Kursk region," Kim said.
The audience is presented with exclusive footage demonstrating the features of combat, including physical and fire training of special forces, as well as their way of life in front-line reality.
The screening was attended by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova, representatives of the veteran organizations "Combat Brotherhood" and "Association of Veterans of the Central Military District of Russia", members of the movements "Yunarmiya" and "Movement of the First", cadets of military schools. The event was also attended by employees of the DPRK Embassy, journalists and public figures.
Kim thanked the guests for their support and stressed the importance of Korean assistance. According to her, the demonstration of the film is an important step in preserving the historical memory of these events. The hall was completely filled during the premiere.
"Korean special forces soldiers of the Korean People's Army <... They carried out the combat missions that were needed at that moment with absolute courage and honor," the deputy noted.
Director Yegor Konchalovsky admitted on January 21 that he was not afraid of creating a feature film about Donbass, despite the possible risks. He added that some colleagues on the shop floor may refuse such projects for fear of being sanctioned. However, the director himself is already under restrictions and, according to him, this does not stop creative activity.According to the data NEWS.ru Konchalovsky has already visited Donbass three times to create a documentary about the Donbass militia. Currently, the work is at the editing stage, and, as the director noted, the film will be small.
