Since 2024, the State Duma has adopted 22 laws in the migration sphere. This was announced on March 12 by Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the lower house of Parliament.

"According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in 2025, 2.3 million patents were issued by foreign citizens for employment in our country. <...> This became possible, among other things, thanks to federal laws in this area, of which 22 have been adopted since 2024," Volodin wrote on the Telegram channel.
