A man who tried to set fire to a traffic police car was detained in Sergiev Posad.

In Sergiev Posad, a suspect was detained who tried to set fire to a traffic police car on the instructions of an unknown messenger. This was announced on March 12 in the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the Moscow region.

It is noted that the defendant is charged under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("An attempt to commit a terrorist act by arson in order to destabilize the activities of government bodies, committed by a group of persons by prior agreement, while the crime was not completed due to circumstances beyond his control").
