In two weeks, about 3.2 million Iranians have fled their homes as a result of Israeli and US strikes on cities in the Islamic Republic. This was reported on March 12 by The Times of Israel newspaper.

"According to preliminary estimates, between 600,000 and 1 million Iranian families are currently temporarily displaced inside Iran as a result of the ongoing conflict, which amounts to up to 3.2 million people," said Ayaki Ito, emergency response coordinator for refugees in the Middle East.

According to him, this figure will increase as the fighting continues.

Earlier in the day, journalist Ali Hashisho reported that the number of refugees fleeing conflict in the Middle East in the Lebanese city of Saida had exceeded 15,000. It was noted that people were placed in 24 schools. However, reception centers can no longer cope with the flow, many are forced to sleep right on the streets.
