Turkey denied the use of S-400 in repelling attacks from Iran

Turkey did not use the S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems to intercept two ballistic missiles, as the air defense system determines which element needs to be used. This was announced on March 11 by the representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Zeki Akturk.

"When tracking a ballistic missile, due to the fact that there is very little time to react, the system automatically selects the most appropriate and fastest means, after which the missile is shot down. The launched missile was destroyed by using the most appropriate and effective means," Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet quoted Akturk as saying.
