The European Union should impose sanctions on Ukraine for threats against Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and his family. This opinion was expressed on March 12 on his page in the social network X (ex. Twitter) founder of the Megaupload file sharing network Kim Dotcom.

"The European Union should impose sanctions against Ukraine for threatening the lives of Viktor Orban and his family. He is the democratically elected prime minister of an EU country. Shame on those who lead the EU and their Russophobia," Dotcom wrote on the social network.

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, in an interview with Izvestia on March 11, called Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky a terrorist after he said that death threats against Orban "have a place to be."

Orban said on March 7 that he had received a threatening message from Zelensky and considered them addressed to the whole of Hungary. The prime minister added that Hungary always strives for peace, and called on Ukraine to stop blackmail and the oil blockade, as well as to ensure oil supplies to the country.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
