A lull has reigned in the southern suburbs of Beirut after a series of overnight Israeli airstrikes. This was reported on March 12 by Al Mayadeen correspondent Lara Saleh.
"A cautious lull prevailed in the southern suburbs of Beirut after a stormy night, during which the suburb was subjected to a series of scattered airstrikes in different areas," the journalist said.
According to her, columns of smoke are still rising over one of the districts, and the drone of drones is still audible in the sky. She also noted that, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, 17 people were injured in the attacks.
On the night of March 12, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked 10 targets of the Hezbollah movement in the Dahiye region of Lebanon. It is specified that the strikes were carried out on launchers and militants of the movement, as well as on the intelligence headquarters and the headquarters of the Radwan unit. It was later reported that eight people were killed as a result of an Israeli strike on a beach in Beirut.
