Lukashenko announced the arrest of the head of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Belarus for a bribe

The head of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Belarus, Sergei Maslyak, is in jail on charges of accepting a bribe. This was stated on March 12 by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting on measures to eliminate unjustified and unfair mediation.

"He was caught red-handed. I warned you that we don't grab anyone on the street. [Chairman of the Supreme Court and former Prosecutor General of Belarus Andrei] Shved, and now [acting Prosecutor General of Belarus] Dmitry Yurievich Gora are tightly controlling this. If necessary, they will report back," BelTA news agency quoted Lukashenko as saying.
