Transbaikalia will receive more than 5 billion rubles of presidential subsidy

In 2026, the authorities of Transbaikalia will implement 31 projects with funds from the presidential subsidy. 5.1 billion rubles are provided for these purposes, 500 million rubles more than a year earlier, writes ChitaMedia news agency on Thursday, March 12.

According to the press service of the regional Ministry of Finance, with this money, in particular, educational and sports facilities will be overhauled, public spaces will be put in order and memorial complexes dedicated to the heroes of the SVR will be created.

For example, the regional budget allocated 14.6 million rubles for the creation of the ecological and tourist trail "Undugun" and a visitor center on Lake Tasey. Benches, stands and architectural objects will be installed on the ecotrope, and an observation deck will be equipped.

Earlier it was reported that about 2.4 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of agriculture in Transbaikalia in 2026. Of these, 500 million rubles are federal money.
