The Kremlin has declared Russia's continued interest in the North–South corridor project

Russia remains interested in the North-South corridor project, despite the unfolding conflict in the Middle East. This was announced on March 12 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Well, obviously, the implementation cannot be carried out in Iran now, you should understand this yourself. But as for the interest of Tehran, a whole group of regional states, and, of course, our interest remains," the press secretary of the Russian president said at a briefing.
