The traditional cleaning of the Russian capital for the summer season will end on May 1. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his channel in the IACH.
"All work will begin as soon as the weather permits," said the head of Moscow.
During the cleaning, urban and courtyard areas will be put in order — children's and sports grounds will be repaired, container sites will be updated. The works will also affect the housing stock: plinths and facades of buildings, entrance groups, canopies of entrances, basements and attics.
Fences and bus shelters will be repaired and painted on the roads, road signs and signs will be washed, and markings will be updated. In addition, specialists will clean monuments, sculptures, pedestrian crossings, tunnels, bridges and overpasses, and prepare for the opening of the fountain season.
The city will also update the painting of street lights. In addition, they will be engaged in the repair and maintenance of central heating points, transformer substations and other technical facilities.
