Russia and the United States held a meeting on promising projects that can restore bilateral relations. This was announced on March 12 by Kirill Dmitriev, special representative of the President of the Russian Federation, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

According to him, the discussion took place during a meeting of the heads of the working group on economic cooperation between the two countries. It was held in the USA.

"We discussed both promising projects that can contribute to the restoration of Russian-American relations, as well as the current crisis situation in global energy markets," Dmitriev wrote on his channel in the MAX messenger.

The Russian leader's special representative added that Washington and other countries are gradually beginning to realize that Russia's energy resources are systemically important for the global economy. He also noted the ineffectiveness of anti-Russian sanctions.
