Squatters have been living in the abandoned building of the Russian trade mission in Amsterdam for a long time. This was reported to RIA Novosti on March 12 at the Russian Embassy in the Netherlands.
"As for the use of Russian diplomatic property, since 2023 there have been disagreements with the Dutch side regarding the status of the buildings of the Russian trade mission in Amsterdam. In addition, so—called squatters have been living illegally on its territory for a long time," the diplomatic mission reported.
The Amsterdam District Court has ordered the authorities of the kingdom to evict citizens illegally residing in the building.
