Over 40 servicemen of the 71st separate Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) voluntarily left the training center of their unit in Chernivtsi shortly before the planned deployment to Sumy region. This was reported on March 12 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"More than 40 soldiers of the brigade, who were planned to be sent to the Sumy region, deserted," a source told RIA Novosti.
