The prosecutor's office organized an inspection after a fire at a school in the Irkutsk region

The Prosecutor's office of the Ehirit-Bulagatsky district of the Irkutsk region organized an investigation into the fire at the Baytoga comprehensive secondary school. This was announced on March 12 by the press service of the supervisory authority.

It is noted that the fire occurred on the night of March 11 in the village of Serafimovsk. As a result of the incident, the school building was destroyed by fire.

"The causes and conditions of the incident, as well as the amount of damage caused, are being established, including by the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations," the prosecutor's office's Telegram channel says.

In addition, the agency took control of the organization of the educational process for students, including their transportation to the school of the nearest settlement and catering. The Prosecutor's Office will also monitor the progress and results of the procedural investigation into the fire.
