North Korean leader Kim Jong-un visited one of the country's key defense enterprises, where he got acquainted with the process of producing a new pistol. This was reported on March 12 by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

"Kim Jong—un got acquainted with the state of affairs of the enterprise, which began production, according to the design project, of a new pistol, approved through consideration and approval by the Central Military Commission of the party," the publication says.

Kim Jong-un decided to personally check the tactical and technical characteristics of the new weapon, for which he went to the shooting range of the enterprise, where the state leader conducted target practice, adds "Газета.Ru ".

New tests of the KN-25 demonstrated minimal deviation from the target and the ability to hit key US bases in the region.

KCNA reported on March 5 that Kim Jong-un visited the new destroyer Choe Hyun and got acquainted with the progress of its tests and crew training. The Head of State was present at the test launch of strategic sea–to-ground cruise missiles.
