Russians were told the conditions for receiving an increased pension allowance

Citizens who have reached the age of 80, as well as persons with group I disabilities, will be entitled to double the fixed part of the insurance pension. This was announced on March 12 by Yulia Finogenova, Professor of the Department of State and Municipal Finance at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

"Pensioners whose age reaches 80 years, or who are disabled in group I, have the right to double the fixed payment to the insurance pension," she said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

It is specified that since January of this year, the amount of the fixed part of the old-age insurance pension has been set at 9 584.69 rubles. If this amount is doubled, it will reach 19,169.38 rubles.
