The analyst spoke about a new scheme of scammers to steal Telegram media accounts.

The attackers have upgraded a previously known scheme for stealing Telegram accounts aimed at journalists and bloggers. If they used to use the pretext of voting for a child, now they claim to convince the victims that winning the competition is necessary to receive a grant for treatment. This was announced on March 12 by Evgeny Egorov, a leading analyst at the Digital risk protection department at F6.

"A message is being sent from a hacked Telegram account to media employees: Hello, I want to ask you. The girl of my relatives, Nastya, participates in the charity drawing competition. Taking the first place is an opportunity to receive a grant for treatment," the analyst said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

After that, the attacker asks you to go to the website and vote for the non-existent Nastya, as well as share it with others.
