As a result of Iran's attack on Patriot complexes at US bases in the Middle East, a large number of American military personnel were killed. This was announced on March 11 by a representative of the central headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces, Khatam al-Anbiya.

"Patriot complexes, military equipment at two naval bases <...>, as well as concentrations of American terrorists were attacked. <..."A significant number of American soldiers were killed and more than 100 wounded," TASS quoted him as saying.
