The driver of a minivan was killed in a collision with a UAZ on Sakhalin
In the Anivsky district of the Sakhalin region, a man was killed as a result of a collision between a Japanese minivan and a domestic UAZ. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.
The accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, March 11, on the 33rd km of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk–Kholmsk highway. It was previously established that the driver of the Toyota Noah minivan lost control. The car went into oncoming traffic and crashed into a UAZ Patriot.
As a result of the collision, the driver of the minivan was injured, from which he died at the scene. A Toyota passenger, the driver and passengers of the UAZ also received injuries of varying severity, SakhalinMedia news agency writes.
The police organized a check on the fatal accident. All circumstances are being established.
On the same morning, two cars collided on the South highway in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. Two people were killed in the accident.
