Zelensky spoke about the timing of the alleged restoration of the Druzhba oil pipeline

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Druzhba oil pipeline could be restored within two months. This became known on March 11.

"Ukraine should tell the European Union the date of possible restoration [of the Druzhba oil pipeline]. Our Naftogaz said it would take about one and a half to two months [to recover]," the UNIAN news agency quoted him as saying on the Telegram channel.

According to him, there were no statements about the official visit of the Hungarian delegation.

In the context of the growing contradictions between Bratislava and Budapest and Kiev, armed provocations are not excluded.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported on the same day that Hungarian inspectors who came to inspect the Druzhba gas pipeline did not have the status of a delegation. The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that they crossed the border on a common basis, using the visa-free regime that applies to persons from the Schengen area.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on March 5 that the country would defeat Ukraine by force on the issue of the Druzhba oil pipeline and would not compromise. According to him, the Ukrainian side must resume the operation of the pipeline and fulfill its obligations in accordance with the EU Association Agreement.
