An exhibition about penguins has opened at the Darwin Museum in Moscow.
The Penguins exhibition has opened in the State Darwin Museum in Moscow. This was reported in the press service of the Department of Culture of the capital.
The ministry noted that the exhibition is dedicated to 18 species of seabirds that cannot fly, but are characterized by high endurance and the ability to dive to great depths.
Visitors will be able to learn about the origin of penguins, their structure and lifestyle, as well as see exhibits from the museum's natural science collections. The exhibition will be open until May 24, according to the Moscow City News Agency.
The Darwin Museum is Russia's first museum of evolution, founded in 1907 by Professor Alexander Kots. Today it is a striking landmark of the capital with a unique collection of rarities — more than 400 thousand exhibits, Moscow 24 notes.
